Tall Sycamore Campground is a camping community located in Logansport, Indiana. We sit on 30 beautiful acres​ including one mile of tree-lined riverfront on the Wabash River. We offer 125 campsites ranging from primitive to 50-amp pull-thrus, and can accommodate just about every type of RV. 

Our goal is to create a fun and enjoyable environment for families and friends to spend time in nature and with each other.  We are open year-round, and offer planned family activities throughout the official camping season of April 18 - October 31, 2026.

Primitive Campsites with River Access: ALL TENT SITES REQUIRE A TENT AND NOT A VEHICLE due to the structure of each site. We do not allow camping in a vehicle due to safety issues on our primitive sites!!

While at Tall Sycamore, there are many activities to enjoy, from planned events to riding the golf cart trail, to kayaking or rafting the Wabash, to just sitting at your site watching the river roll by... And the fishing is always great!

Nearby France Park Beach offers swimming in the cool waters, and is even notable scuba diving.

In Logansport, you can pay a visit to the world famous Dentzel Carousel, or visit the Muehlhausen Aquatic Park on a hot day between June 3 and August 3 when they are open to the public!

Nearby Bunker Hill is home to the Grissom Air Museum. The Elwood Haynes Automotive Museum is located in Kokomo as well as Kokomo Beach Family Aquatic Center is also a great summer attraction.

We are also within 1 mile of an excellent 18-hole, par-71 golf course, Logansport Golf Club
 open to the public with a new full-service menu! Weekly specials are listed on their Facebook page! 
 

Nearby (33 miles) Lake Shafer offers the Indiana Beach Amusement Park, complete with a water park and lazy river. The Shafer Queen Boat Ride, out of the Lake Shafer Marina is so much fun, and they also offer boat and jet ski rentals. We also own Lake Freeman Campground and Marina, where our guests receive special rates to park/launch their boats.

We have 2 other RV parks in the Monticello area! Norway Campground and Walnut Ridge RV Resort if you are looking for accommodations closer to Lake Freeman. Ask our Manager about these cool spots!

Lake Freeman in Monticello, Indiana, offers the Queen of Freeman Lake, Madam Carroll double-decker boat cruise. So fun!
